The Library & ICT unit at the Faculty of Medicine offers efficient IT Services and qualified support to research, teaching and administration. We contribute to making the faculty an attractive workplace and learning environment.

The core of our approach is accessibility and operational support that creates added value for employees and students at the faculty.

Mission

The Library & ICT unit at the Faculty of Medicine has a broad mission:

  • We give support to researchers in the research process, publishing, and dissemination of the scientific output.

  • We give support to teaching and learning. The subject liaison librarians are a pedagogical resource for students, and a cooperative partner for the study programmes and teachers. We also operate two physical libraries, which function as a part of the faculty learning environment.

  • We provide efficient IT services and operational IT support.

  • We handle the general IT security at the faculty.

  • We provide tools and support for research data management.
