The Library & ICT unit at the Faculty of Medicine offers efficient IT Services and qualified support to research, teaching and administration. We contribute to making the faculty an attractive workplace and learning environment.
The core of our approach is accessibility and operational support that creates added value for employees and students at the faculty.
The Library & ICT unit at the Faculty of Medicine has a broad mission:
We give support to researchers in the research process, publishing, and dissemination of the scientific output.
We give support to teaching and learning. The subject liaison librarians at Library & ICT are a pedagogical resource for students, and a cooperative partner for the study programmes and teachers.
We operate three phyical libraries which function as a part of the faculty learning environment.
We provide efficient IT services and operational IT support.
We provide cost-effective and well functioning support for information and communication technology within the faculty, including digital support till lärande.
We handle the general IT security at the faculty.
We provide tools and support for research data management.
