Faculty of Medicine Lund

We are located almost wall-to-wall with Skåne University Hospital in Lund, and the proximity means the paths between the clinic, the laboratory, and back to the clinic are short—not only conceptually, but also in a very literal, physical sense. Experimental medical research with a clinical focus is conducted here, as well as health sciences research. 

Within walking distance you will find the Faculty of Science, Lund University of Technology (LTH), the Ideon Science Park research village, and a large number of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
 

There are about 170 research groups here who are involved in research in the medical and health sciences field. Education is offered at undergraduate level, master programmes and PhD programmes.In total there are over 1700 researchers, doctoral students, technical and administrative staff.

Parking places are available near the faculty or on the hospital ground. Parking tickets can be purchased using the app Parkster or ticket machine by credit card (MasterCard and Visa).
