Medicon Village

Medicon Village is a venue for research, innovation and business development in the field of life science. Medicon Village is situated in Lund, close to Lund University and Skåne University Hospital. The Faculty of Medicine conducts research within the fields of cancer/oncology, neuroscience, palliative care and environmental/occupational health here.

At Medicon Village you will find researchers from Lund University, a large number of private companies and several regional council operations (Region Skåne). Four of our departments have research groups here:

  • Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund
  • Department of Clinical Sciences, Malmö
  • Department of Experimental Medical Science
  • Department of Laboratory Medicine
