Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund

Welcome to the Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund, one of six departments at the Faculty of Medicine. Clinical Sciences Lund intimately cooperate with Skåne University Hospital Lund, and the Medical Faculty in order to optimize the conditions for preclinical and clinical, translational research, research strategies and the development, as well as education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

About the department

Clinical Sciences Lund is organized in five sections, and holds educational in e.g. the MD programme, at present 500 registered PhD students with approximately 60 dissertations per year. Research is carried out even in the Clinical Sciences in Helsingborg, which is a division of the Department. Clinical Sciences Lund constitutes the largest unit within this level at Lund University.
