Department of Laboratory Medicine

Welcome to the Department of Laboratory Medicine - one of six departments at Lund University’s Faculty of Medicine. We conduct leading research, both broad and specialised, within the field of laboratory medicine, focusing on the onset of disease and how we can improve diagnostics and treatment for patients.

The department’s activities also include comprehensive third cycle education and training within the medical and biomedical degree programmes. In addition, we are also active as lecturers within first and second cycle education – above all within the medical and biomedical degree programmes.
