The Library & ICT unit at the Faculty of Medicine offers efficient IT Services and qualified support to research, teaching and administration. We contribute to making the faculty an attractive workplace and learning environment. The core of our approach is accessibility and operational support that creates added value for employees and students at the faculty.
Mission
The Library & ICT unit at the Faculty of Medicine has a broad mission offering efficient IT services and qualified support to research, teaching and administration. We contribute to an attractive workplace and learning environment.
Services and support
- Support to researchers during the entire research process, including tools & consultation in data management, literature search services, visual communication of research findings, publishing strategies, and dissemination of the faculty´s research output.
- Support to student learning. The subject liaison librarians are a pedagogical resource for students, and a cooperative partner for the study programmes and teachers. We also operate two physical libraries, which function as a part of the faculty learning environment.
- We provide efficient IT services and operational IT support.
- We handle the general IT security at the faculty.
