Department of Laboratory Medicine
The Department of Laboratory Medicine (ILM) is one of six departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. We conduct research and education in the field of laboratory medicine, focusing on understanding how diseases arise and how diagnostics and treatment can be improved for the benefit of patients.
We conduct research across a broad spectrum of medical disciplines with strong clinical connection. We also offer comprehensive postgraduate education and are an active participant in undergraduate and advanced level education, particularly in the medical program and the biomedicine program.
